Research Interest

I specialize in Twentieth-century Fiction (Christie, Grisham, Highsmith, Hornby, Kazuo, Kundera) and Curriculum Studies. My work in both fields overlaps: I examine the attitude toward and assumptions about reading and writing that circulate in popular culture, professional literary culture and in the culture of language classrooms.
